April Goals

aprilgoals

April showers bring May flowers. It snowed last night…. WHAT!? not much, but enough to make the ground wet and the air ice cold! I usually welcome winter with open arms, but right now I have to say I am pretty excited for warm nights so we can cook out and I can lay out in the backyard with a good book! March was awesome, it was full of meetings, spring cleaning, office organizing, engagement shoots, pretty pictures, painting, and eye openers. I’m ready to take on April and rule the month!

Natasha & Andrei were married in a small intimate backyard wedding at a house up at Lake Tahoe. It was a beautiful day, perfect weather! After their ceremony they along with their families headed down to the Lake and enjoyed a trip to Emerald Bay on a private yacht. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a special day! And thank you to Charlotte for having me along to second shoot for you! You are so fun!!

March Goals

marchgoals

March!? Already!? When did this happen!? February was good. I think my head was still in the clouds a bit, but I got a lot accomplished (even if it wasn’t everything from February’s goals) and I am super ready to tackle March! It’s starting to get a bit warmer, which is getting me excited for this summer (we hope to go camping a few times!). I successfully went through the house (minus a couple small areas) and cleared all the clutter, I got rid of a bunch of stuff that had just been sitting around and donated it, and even though it might not look like a lot was done, I can feel it and it feels good! I plan to do this again later this year to go through the things I couldn’t get rid of this time around and see if I still NEED to keep it!
I got back into exercising, and boy did I miss it! Each morning when I struggle with motivation I need to remind myself of how awesome I feel after my workouts!!
I also started a bit of ‘spring cleaning’ over here in Green Anchor Photo. Simplifying things, and doing a bit of sprucing up, I’m excited to show you what I’ve been working on!!

February Goals

Processed with VSCOcam with m1 preset

I believe in being real, authentic, true. January came and went, and it was full. It was great! I loved January – but I feel as though my head has been in the clouds … It was only just today that I started being able to see things a little bit more clearly. But I thought this picture was perfect for this me this month… I was trying to take a picture of the mountains and the clouds hanging low overhead, but my phone wouldn’t focus… so I took the picture anyways. And I’m glad I did.

I didn’t complete all my January goals, but I’m ready to get to it this month!

-Document sweet Zoey’s birth
-Do 1 Home Life session
-Get back into my exercise routine starting with 3 days a week
-Blog once a week – I almost had this one…
-Take in our fur-girls to the vet for check-ups
-Start research for a cleaning schedule

I am ready to tackle February! I am going to add the ones I missed in January to get me started!

February Goals

-Get back into my exercise routine starting with 3 days a week
-Blog once a week
-Go through the house and de-clutter/simplify/organize (don’t be a pansy!)
-Finish editing 2 sessions

A short list for this month, but I’m ready to own February! How about you? What are your goals for this month?

Sandy & Steve | Engaged

_0000

God doesn’t work in our timeline. And I’m thankful, because His timing is PERFECT! Thank you Jesus!
I want you to meet my sweet mother-in-love. She has one of the kindest hearts I know, she is so thoughtful and goes above and beyond to serve others and to show love! I LOVE her! This is her fiancé Steve. I can’t even begin to tell you how sweet they are together! He makes her laugh like I’ve never seen before, and she feels safe with him! I get teary eyed thinking about it! I love seeing them be together! How he makes her laugh and she leans in and hugs his arm, and how he puts his arm around her and kisses her forehead!
God brought these two together and it’s the most perfect timing!

Frazier | Home Life

_0000

Home life is what happens everyday when we aren’t looking. It’s night time routines, it’s having your mom come to visit, it’s doing dishes, it’s loving each other with everything you have. That is exactly what this family does!

I can’t tell you enough good things about Aaron and Heather, my life is GREATLY blessed by knowing them! They are both in the Army and serve their country with grateful hearts, but through out their marriage, the Army has sent them away from each other to so many different schools and deployments! Their most recent time apart was just last year – Aaron was in Missouri while pregnant Heather was in South Carolina. Through most of their pregnancy they had to live in separate states! They serve a mighty God though, and He blesses them for honoring Him, and Aaron was able to come visit many weekends, and they talked on the phone nightly where Aaron would talk to the baby and they would pray together. It gives me such joy to see them both at home again!

Together finally, they do life together with their sweet Jeremiah and his cute pup, To-Delight-in-The-Lord, and cat Feed-Me-Milk or Toodles (dog) and Imy (cat) for short.
