Sweet Baby Frazier

I love this couple so very much! Not just because they are my family – but their hearts are so genuine and their love for each other is soo sweet! They chose to keep the sex of their first baby a surprise until birth. We were all so eager to meet sweet little baby Frazier! When they came down to visit D & I in Georgia we went out and I got to document Amanda’s precious baby belly.

Things I like Thursday

ONE.

My nephews! I don’t just like them though… I LOVE them!! I had the immense honor to be there for both of their births and they are some of my favorite experiences! I can’t wait to share more images with you soon. But for now just swoon over their adorableness! Noah James – on the left, was born May 2 and looks JUST like his daddy! Jeremiah – on the right was born almost one week later on May 8. I will forever cherish the moments I got to spend with each of them! I can’t wait to see their personalities grow and watch them grow into handsom young men, however they will always stay my little buddies!

TWO.

Painting my nails. I have a bit of a collection growing of nail polish, as you can see above. I may or may not have bottles of the same color but different brands (not on purpose though). I love all the colors, the choices, the different designs you can do on your nails… but also, it’s such a relaxing thing for me – to pick out my color and paint my nails… it’s a bit of me time – even if I’m with someone else, it’s perfect for a mini relaxation. Currently I have Revlon’s Posh on my fingers and Essie’s Cocktail Bling on my toes. What color are you wearing?

THREE.

Peonies. These are my favorite flowers! I fell in love with them when I was researching flowers for my own wedding bouquet (which is above). They are just so romantic, elegant, beautiful. What are your favorite flowers?

What are you liking this week? Share with me in the comments below!!

I’m also loving this week: quality time with my hubby, playing tennis, and the way God works in our lives.

June Goals

Wow! June already!!?? I can’t believe that the year is half over already! Time has sure flown by for me this year. Goal wise this year- I have not done well… I’ve made my goals and I have tried to be very honest at what I feel that I can accomplish knowing what my months look like… However, and it pains me to say this, I have not been able to cross a lot off my lists each month. But! I have been faithful in setting goals and blogging them on the first each month! I mark this to be a big success for me- because I have found myself setting weekly/daily goals (ie. laundry, dishes, mail…etc) and before this year I really didn’t set goals or even care to!
I did complete two out of my three goals for last month. And while I am sad that I could cross all three off- it is ok that I couldn’t cross this specific one off. My goals for last month were:
-Start working on birth edits – this one is completed. One birth is completely done and the second is about half way!
-Work on unpacking/organizing – check!! yay! all but a couple boxes are unpacked (aside from a few with things we don’t know what to do with it yet) and most of the rooms are all organized!
-Write & post 3 blogs – this one I didn’t complete. And the reason I am ok with that- is because- as you know I was away from the office (and home) for a month and while I had access to my computer and the Internet- I spent all of my time with family- on real life! And while I wasn’t completely unconnected – it felt nice to be able to just enjoy the time with my family and document life!

Real life > the Internet
Real life > social media
Real life > tv
I am home though, and finally getting settled in and ready to jump into a routine! In the close of my May- I have been challenged and inspired- and I’m about to get real with life, and real with you! I’m going to be sharing more, and loving more, and doing more! I also want to say thank you to a couple of ladies (whom I won’t name- but I hope they know who they are) that maybe even without knowing it- totally challenged me and inspired me… THANK YOU!! I can’t tell you how much you mean to me! So watch out June because here I come!

June Goals
-find a weight watchers meeting location and join (see I told you I was getting real with life. Acknowledging I need to change and sharing it with the world are two totally different things and it is scary as all get out to put this here for all to see- but I need to change and I need accountability!)
-finish editing the birth images
-blog 3 times
-sign up with a wedding advertising blog/website
-celebrate my sweet D’s birthday!

Ok. So I just got vulnerable and shared a huge failure of mine- but I did so, so that I could be held accountable. I challenge you today- get vulnerable, get real with life and choose to do something that scares you! You can do it!! For you, what is REAL LIFE greater than!?

If you are ready to get real with life or if you’ve set goals for yourself this month I’d love to see! Share them with me below!

May Goals

This month has been a whirlwind! We made it to Carson City and I am still working on getting settled in the house. The image above is from a little family afternoon drive around Lake Tahoe the week we got into town. It is so pretty up there, I am already so excited for all the trips we will be taking! And it is such a short drive from our house. It took us a little longer to find a house than we thought it would- so we do still have a few boxes left to unpack and a couple rooms that still need to be organized, but it is coming along. However, right now I am not home in Carson City- I am back on the east coast to witness and document home life and the births of my first nieces and/or nephews – I am so beyond words, this experience is unlike anything else in this great world. These little fingers and toes are such miracles and to be able to experience such a thing just takes me breath away. Because we can’t know the exact date that the little precious bundles of joy will join us, I will be here (the east coast) for a few weeks, and so my goals for this month are again, going to be very limited.

May Goals

-Start working on birth edits
-Write & post 3 blogs
-Work on unpacking/organizing

These past few months have been full, stressful, and a bit overwhelming and I just want to thank you for being patient with me. I have lots of good stuff to come! So keep looking out!!

Alison & Brandon | Married

Alison & Brandon are just the cutest!! Alison’s smile is infectious and Brandon loves his bride with everything he has. They chose to do a first look, and it was the sweetest one I’ve ever witnessed. I melt when the groom gets emotional, and Brandon couldn’t contain his joy and love for his girl when he saw her. Just precious!! Alison & Brandon you are beautiful, I wish you all the happiness in the world!

How incredibly precious is this face?
The sweetest first look! These two are just precious!!! When a groom can’t contain his joy as he sees his bride for the first time, I just melt.
Oh my goodness they just make my heart jump!
One of my favorite things on a wedding day, is when the groom serves his bride. He just loves her so much.
Alison, you are so beautiful and your smile is soo contagious.
Alison & Brandon your day was beautiful thank you so much for allowing me to join you on your special day!
