As you are reading this, we are on the road! However, I am sitting on the couch as I type this because the rest of the house is a mess with boxes everywhere. We leave on Sunday and there is still so much left to do!! I can’t believe 9 months has come and gone so quickly!! This past month has been so crazy. I have about given up on my reading, or so it seems. I have been so busy with packing, last trips to see family, and weddings that I have totally forgotten about my books! I definitely want to finish them, but I am going to wait until we get settled in! While I didn’t get my books read, I did complete the rest of my goals from March, I planned out our route, and thankfully we will be able to stay with family all but one night on the road! The house is packed, for the most part, There are a few things here and there that still are not in boxes, but it’s getting there and by golly it will have to be done by the 31 since that’s the day we leave! :) The city we are moving to is small, so there aren’t too many options for renting, but I have contacted a few people to get more information on the houses and I am just waiting to hear back from them.
I am hoping that April will be busy. Our first month back into semi-permanent life, it will feel weird not having/knowing a move date! I am so excited to see what God brings to us in this new season of life, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little anxious. Being an Army brat, I’ve moved so many times in my life, you’d think I’d be so used to it – but with each move (even if it is in the same city) there are some anxieties… for me at least; the unknown, the feeling of being unprepared, both of which are weighing very heavy on my heart right now. With all of that though, I still want to set goals for myself – We don’t have a place to live just yet, so while that will definitely be on my goal list, the rest of my goal list is going to be pretty small and vague as I really don’t know what to expect from this month.
-Find a place to live
-Keep sanity (is that ok to have as a goal?)
Well there you have it. April’s goals… Short and to the point. I hope that you all have a great month and if you made your monthly goals, please share them with me in the comments below, I love hearing from you guys!
